Calla was an adorable butterfly for Halloween.
We didn't make it trick or treating because...
Hadden has some sort of flu. Who knows what it is, since he had BOTH flu shots. But, we are in the middle of the 4th day of fever, chest congestion, cough and loss of voice. He was the saddest 5 year old EVER when he didn't get to go trick or treating in his new policeman outfit. He has been watching movies and Reading Rainbow episodes in bed ever since. He likes the movies, the flu, not so much.

That is honestly the saddest story ever heard! Poor Hadden! Hope he get's better soon. My two oldest have strep throat and impentigo... love all these disgusting virus' out there. Hope Hadden feels well soon!! :)

I remember missing 'treating as a kid; that stinks, it's bad enough just to be sick but missing out on that...! You are welcome to take all of our candy, I'm sure you'd love that :) Hopefully the rest of your family stays healthy. Calla is absolutely adorable. We hope Hadden feels well soon!
Are you sure he's not a Davis? I mean, come on, he could be a triplet to the girls. This week we've had 2 bouts of strep throat, one of which they thought was scarlet fever and almost hospitalized Hadley over. Then next week Hadley has a surgery, and Gavin is in the middle of a hacking, nasty cough. AND, all 3 kids are on 3 types of asthma medication. It just figures that you get your kids the flu shots, and are careful and then they end up sick . . . on Halloween. Poor Hadden!
